Carbon Infrared Quartz Heating Lamps: When You Need Heat, Right Now
We built these carbon infrared quartz heating lamps for one reason: to give you fast, focused heat exactly where you need it. No more wasted energy heating the whole room. These lamps blast high-intensity energy straight onto the target, so your drying process gets done faster and your line keeps moving.
The Power Behind the Heat
Let’s get into the details. The standard setup runs at 400V, which lets us pack a serious punch into a 300mm tube without overloading your control panel. We’re talking 2500W of power. That’s a lot of heat in a small space, which means temperatures climb fast. The 300mm length is intentional, too. It’s designed to fit perfectly into standard drying zones and conveyor lines, making these lamps a simple swap-in when it’s time for a replacement. But with all that concentrated power, you’ll want to make sure your machine’s cooling and electrical setup are ready for it.
What’s Inside Matters
We chose a halogen-filled, high-purity quartz envelope for a reason. It’s tough. It can handle those rapid temperature shifts without breaking a sweat, and it keeps the heat output steady. The quartz itself is great at sending infrared energy through, and the halogen cycle inside keeps the filament clean. Less blackening means more consistent performance over time. And we didn’t forget the details. A reflective coating on the outside pushes more energy forward, so you’re not wasting heat to the sides. For the connections, we use R7s or SK15 connectors. They lock in tight, give you a solid electrical contact, and hold steady even when things are vibrating or expanding from the heat.
How It Feels on the Factory Floor
On a drying line, these lamps are all about speed. They hit the surface with intense infrared heat, which makes solvents and moisture evaporate in a flash. You’re not just drying parts, films, or coatings—you’re doing it quickly and efficiently. Because the heat is so focused, you don’t have to crank up the temperature on everything else in the work cell. It stays comfortable and manageable. The compact size slips right into those tight machine spaces, and the simple connectors make swapping out a lamp quick and easy. You get reliable, repeatable heat, every single time. It’s a lamp that just keeps going, cycle after cycle.
