If you’re dealing with thick coatings or dense polymers, you know the struggle. Most heaters just scorch the surface while the middle stays cold. That’s why we built this 750mm medium-wave tube. Instead of the heat bouncing off the top, it actually sinks in. It gets deep into the material. It’s the difference between a quick sear and a slow, thorough cook. The guts of the thing It runs on 220V and puts out 1200W. We kept the power spread out over that 750mm length so you don’t end up with those annoying hot spots that ruin a batch. Plus, since it fits standard industrial grids, you can skip the bulky transformers. Here’s the best part: we used carbon fiber instead of the old-school tungsten or halogen filaments. Metal filaments tend to sag or warp after they’ve been heated and cooled a thousand times. Carbon fiber doesn’t do that. It stays straight. It lasts longer. A few things to watch out for Setting it up is pretty fast, but be careful with your mounting brackets. Don’t squeeze the ends too hard. The carbon fiber inside is a beast, but the quartz glass on the outside? That’ll crack if you’re too rough with it. Making it work in your shop If you’re running PET blowing or a drying line, these usually slide right in. They warm up way faster than those clunky resistive heaters, which saves you time every morning. Just a heads-up: 1200W kicks out a lot of heat. If you cram these tubes too close together in a tight box, you might melt your own control wiring. Give them some breathing room. Toss in a few cooling fans or a good vent to keep your housing from getting toasted.
