Material & Design
Inside, the carbon fiber element sits inside a quartz envelope. It connects with an R7s base, so the install is a straight, drop-in job. Quartz handles thermal shock without blinking, and it shrugs off chemical overspray. The carbon fiber filament keeps resistance steady, so the output stays consistent even as the lamp ages. No surprises. Just dependable heat.
Application & Benefits
In a spray booth, you need heat that dries the coating fast—but doesn’t stir the air. Infrared hits the wet film directly, so cure time drops and you get less solvent carryover. The design is compact, so it fits into tight spots, and the R7s base makes replacements quick and painless. One thing to keep in mind: that high power density means you need proper cooling and electrical planning. Match your cooling and branch circuit to the 2500W draw. If you don’t, the control panel will run hot—and nobody wants that.
