We built this carbon fiber quartz ceramic heater for one reason: to deliver serious heat, fast. It’s an infrared tube made for industrial machines that need intense, pinpoint warmth—especially in those cramped spots where you want serious power without a giant footprint.

What’s Under the Hood

Here’s the quick version: a 300mm tube, 2500W, running on 400V. That combo was chosen on purpose. It packs a ton of heat into a short length, so you can get a small zone hot almost instantly. And the 400V part? It keeps the current lower than a 230V setup, which means you can use smaller wiring and put less stress on your contactors. But let’s be real—packing this much power into a small space means you have to plan for cooling and make sure the power supply stays steady. Voltage dips just aren’t an option here.

Materials and Build

Inside the quartz tube sits a carbon fiber heating element, surrounded by halogen gas. That gas does a neat trick: it keeps the element clean even at scorching temperatures, which helps the output stay consistent and stretches the tube’s life compared to bare-wire emitters. The tube also has a ceramic coating. It helps control surface temperature and keeps the quartz free from contamination. When it’s time to install, the R7s base gives you a solid, direct electrical connection. In the right fixture, it’s a straight drop-in replacement. No fuss.
